Accessibility Statement
Cossa Store accessibility commitments and contact channel for access barriers.
Our standard
Cossa Store aims to make its public shopping and support journeys usable by as many people as reasonably possible. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our technical accessibility target and testing benchmark. This statement is a target and operating standard, not a claim that every page has already achieved perfect conformance.
What we design for
We work toward keyboard-operable controls, visible keyboard focus, semantic headings and landmarks, programmatic form labels, useful validation messages, text alternatives for meaningful images, readable text resizing and reflow, and sufficient text and interface contrast.
Important instructions, prices, policies, delivery information and consent choices should be available as real text rather than being communicated only inside an image.
Images and product media
Meaningful images should include useful alternative text. Decorative images should not create unnecessary screen-reader noise. Supplier or product media must have a documented right or permission for use; we do not treat an image found on the internet as authorised simply because it is publicly visible.
Payments and third parties
Some checkout, payment, authentication, delivery or other functions may be provided by third parties. We select and configure integrations with accessibility in mind, but a third party controls its own interface. Contact us if an external step prevents you from completing a transaction so we can offer reasonable support where possible.
Report a barrier
If you cannot access Store information or complete a task because of an accessibility barrier, contact cossa@cossanexusholdings.co.za or 067 801 1907. Tell us the page, the task you were trying to complete and the assistive technology or device involved if you are comfortable sharing it.
Review
We review accessibility alongside product, privacy and legal changes. New components and major changes should be checked for keyboard access, labels, focus, contrast, zoom/reflow and non-text alternatives before release.
