1. Scope

This policy explains cookies, local browser storage and similar technologies used on Cossa Store, operated by Cossa Nexus Holdings (Pty) Ltd. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

2. Essential storage

We use storage that is reasonably necessary to provide requested Store functions, including authentication or session continuity, shopping-cart and wishlist state, security controls, checkout continuity, fraud prevention and privacy preferences. Blocking essential storage may prevent parts of the Store from working correctly.

3. Optional analytics

Where Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager is configured, Cossa Store treats that measurement as optional. The Store must not load those Google measurement scripts until you choose Allow analytics.

Analytics may process technical and usage information such as page location, page title, device/browser information, interaction events and approximate network information. We do not intentionally send payment-card credentials or banking passwords to analytics.

4. Your choice

You can choose Essential only and continue using the Store without optional analytics. You can reopen Cookie settings at any time and change your choice. If you withdraw analytics permission after it has loaded, the Store reloads so optional measurement scripts are no longer loaded for the new session.

5. Third-party services

Payment, authentication, hosting, fraud-prevention, fulfilment and other providers may use technologies that are strictly necessary to deliver the service you request. Their own privacy notices may also apply when you interact directly with them.

A Google Tag Manager container must only contain approved measurement tags consistent with the choice presented on this Store. Marketing or advertising tags must not be added behind an analytics-only consent choice without updating the consent controls and this policy.

6. South African privacy law

Where cookies or similar technologies process personal information, Cossa Store handles that processing under applicable South African law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 and consumer-protection rules may also apply to online transactions and electronic communications.
